Shipping to the states
Any recommendations for shipping a couple of boxes of household goods?

No rush and nothing particularly valuable.

Thanks in advance!

My wife had dishes shipped from GTO to our home in California via UPS. It took 3 weeks & not cheap but they arrived in perfect condition.

RE: Shipping to the states
I used redpack, I sent 3 suitcases (they helped me wrap them all up too) and a bicycle for $550, I think 120kg, it was the cheapest by far when I compared.

There office is just before this fedex, the carpark before the big one, was easy to find. (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Centro...07cd48d9d8)

I found them by accident, when looking for the fedex. They didn't have insurance but then if it is used stuff you don't have receipts for it won't be covered by any insurance anyways and I had read a few things saying people tried to claim from other companies for insurance and got nothing. They got it a little wrong and I had to ship it to myself in the USA and prove I had a visa for the USA and it was tracked the whole way. You can't send any liquids or medications, these guys were really great and cheap if you need an alternative, I was very impressed :)

This is great info, Lisa. It will be primarily clothes, a few household items - nothing I can't live without. I figured it wouldn't be particularly cheap.

Thanks so much for info, particularly the map.
