Time for FUN, for FEELING GOOD, and for DOING SOME GOOD! AMIGOS BLOWOUT BRUNCH 7/17

Hi, everyone:

If you are like me, you are getting a lot of requests to support various worthy causes these days. I'm writing to ask you to support the one that does good RIGHT HERE IN GUANAJUATO, Amigos de los Animales de Guanajuato, by either attending the terrific brunch we are providing on Sunday, July 17, or, if you cannot attend, by making your annual donation, in any amount, to support the important work we do RIGHT HERE IN GUANAJUATO!

The knockout brunch will be at the extraordinary home of Virgilio Fernandez and Estela Cordero in Marfil and will feature exceptional food and delightful cabaret-style entertainment. Just call 731-1955 for reservations or to make your donation. Details about the brunch are in the enclosed attachment.

If you cannot attend, then please make a donation in any amount to make sure that the important work we do continues.

Thanks to your help, over the past ten years Amigos has helped make Guanajuato a better place by:

-- Sterilizing nearly 6,000 dogs and cats through our clinic-based program in the city and 27 intensive campaigns in the wider municipality.

-- Placing nearly 3,000 homeless dogs and cats with families, working with local veterinarians and volunteers.

-- Educating hundreds of school children about how to provide responsible care for the pets in their families.

-- Informing thousands of adults through our educational newspaper articles and radio interviews.

Recently we have been able to expand our public education program with bus ads, TV spots, and newspaper ads, thanks to a grant from a US foundation. But our core program is still funded exclusively by donations from individuals, and we continue to need your help!
