Living I? Mexico: T?? Guanajuato Shove
Not that I follow the Twin City (skate) Boarders blog much but it came up in Google Alerts this morning. The Boarders up in the frozen north must be really short on material and I know its cold and they had a foot of snow this past weekend but do we really need more of this thrash as it floats around the web????

An excerpt: I ???? b??? talking ?b??t things ?? m? columns ??k? getting shoved ?ff t?? sidewalk ??t? t?? path ?f a bus manned b? someone w?? thinks ?? ?? a racecar driver. I ?m talking ?b??t calling f?r t?? bottled water t? ??t delivered ???? t? ???? ?t finally come ?ft?r ????ve died fr?m thirst ??? ???r body w?? shipped back t? t?? States three months ago. T??t?s w??t I mean.

The person responsible for this drivel of course bleats over and again to his more gullible readers that the evil fake-pats [he being the only bona fide expat in the world] of GTO, SMA and elsewhere accuse him of making this stuff up. It is pretty hard for anyone who has been here a while to believe that one gets pushed/shoved off the sidewalk in front of a bus ? much less having it happen three times. But his defense comes down to a sort of ?my word against theirs? thing. He could get away with this for quite a long while as the thing he has been most careful about [and it certainly ain't been his editing or proof-reading] is that he is very protective of his image and nary an online photo is to be found of the bard-of-the-bajio. This is important for a couple of reasons -one being that he hides from the unwary reader that he's 6'2" or so and easily tops 250lbs making him a little difficult for the average ?little brown people?* of GTO to topple in the first place. It would certainly take a much more experienced soul to knock him out of his preferred New Balance footwear ? someone like a DF or Monterrey Simi-toppler

with all the "ranting and raving I?ve been doing about living in Guanajuato" I wonder why he wants to stay. if I was going to bitch that much about a place, I'd leave. But then again, perhaps he bitches about anywhere and everywhere and nothing is satisfying so it is a moot point.
