Recommend a Lawyer?

I need to file a demanda against the bum landlord who swiped my deposit. :@ It is an open and shut winning case, I just need a lawyer to file it for me.

I don't need an English-speaking lawyer; I'm fine with Spanish only.

I also don't need the University's free Despacho Juridico. I need a lawyer. A professional, who works, for money.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I've also checked out Justicia Alternativa. I'd recommend them if you ever need mediation, but they're not appropriate for me this time.

Josh, The guy for the job is Lic Mauricio Hinojosa. I have used him against landlords, the CFE and for other matters. The lady who recommended him to me long ago described him as muy cabron. When I explained my tenancy problem to him I told him that it was a matter of principal and that although I could move I'd rather fight and could pay to do so - I can still remember the smile that came across his face. He had a chat with the landlord and explained that if things couldn't be worked out that we would just begin paying rent to the state of Guantajuato and the landlord could work out collecting it from them. 200 pesos for a job well done.

But the problem is where to find him. Since I've known him [over 11 years] he has moved his office at least four times - last location was on the Blvd Guanajuato but his sign is now gone. Perhaps someone else has more recent contact with him. I usually find him by chance driving around [silver Honda sedan] or in the street - he is a fairly small guy and the most dapper dresser in GTO

I second the recommendation of Mauricio Hinojosa. I have used him on a tough case, and though it is not finished, I feel he has really done his job. The cell phone number I have for him is (473) 105-5769. His e-mail is hinojosamedina@hotmailcom.

He moved from an office next to his house on Boulevard Guanajuato INTO his house when he had a divorce. As far as I know he is still there, at about #25 (more or less).
