Blood pressure reading?
can one get your blood pressure measured at local pharmacies? Routine maintenance only so no doctor involvement required.

RE: Blood pressure reading?
Yes. I get it done at the Similares next to the HSBC bank by Plaza de la Paz. There's several other pharmacies along Juarez that have "consultorios". The cost is 10 to 20 pesos.

You might want to try Cruz Roja. I believe they will take your blood pressure for free... If anyone knows for sure, please respond.

RE: Blood pressure reading?
I'm not sure any blood pressure reading around here is worth much. I notice they don't hold your arm level with your heart. Every reading I have gotten here has been high. I have a high quality tester that was bought in the USA and tested by my doctor there. It is accurate, and never gives me a high reading. I think the internist and nurses secretly like giving high readings it makes them feel like they have accomplished something good. Yes it's only paranoid if it's not true.
