We also have an immigration story.

We needed to get permanent resident cards. We asked Sonia Diaz for help with car importation to start the process. Turns out she is a paralegal who handles it all (cars, INM Visas, Drivers license, Seguro Popular, and Gringo quirks) with ease. She is completely BILINGUAL.

The process to sell or register FOUR cars and to get TWO permanent resident cards was a snap, thanks to her. She looks and acts like the highly regarded professional she is for $300 to $500 pesos a person or per car.

For us to spend a year in Ecuador requires certified copies of each of the following> birth, marriage, divorce, FBI "good conduct" check, and government pension EACH then sent to the Washington DC Secretary of State for an apostille, then translated into Ecuadorian Spanish by their approved translators. The fees for all of this are much worse than Sonia Diaz and the govt. in Mexico.
