Family Now Safe at Tierra de Verano (mal espanol aqui)

Yea! The family who suffered a home fire is now safely moved into our guest room. The four children were adorable last night. I never saw such big grins after they experienced hot showers for the first time in their lives! Mom was delighted with the tiny private kitchen in our place. Samantha (14) was able to light the gas stove just fine. Naiomi(4) loved seeing "Chicken Little" on DVD. Laura (16) said she really was happy to have a quiet place to do her homework. Iset (9) liked the mangos and Amaranth bars we left for them to enjoy. Having their own refrigerator seems to be a very big deal too.

Thanks to Alice W, we had a futon for them, Peggy F made sure they had sheets, Alice F and Alice W provided tons of food, clothing, and various containers. Kate B will be home next week so we can get the table, four chairs, and twin bed for them. If anyone is moving or have a garage sale, PLEASE let us know. They are going to need towels, another twin bed, a bunk bed, lamps, dishes and silverware.

They, and we, are looking forward to working on the house rebuild during Easter break. We are just $500 short now to finish the rebuild. We'd LOVE some help from anyone willing to collect donations or click on this button.

Yea! La familia que sufri? un incendio en el hogar es ahora desplazar de forma segura a nuestra habitaci?n.

Los cuatro ni?os eran adorables anoche. Nunca hab?a visto tan grandes sonrisas despu?s de haber experimentado duchas de agua caliente, por primera vez en sus vidas! Mam? estaba encantado con la peque?a cocina privada en nuestro lugar. Samantha (14) fue capaz de encender la estufa de gas muy bien. Naiomi (4) les encant? ver "Chicken Little" en DVD. Laura (16) dijo que realmente estaba feliz de tener un lugar tranquilo para hacer la tarea. Iset (9) gustado los bares mangos y amaranto que faltan para que disfruten. Tener su propio refrigerador parec?a ser un negocio muy grande.

Gracias a Alice W, tuvimos un fut?n para ellos, Peggy F se asegur? de que ten?a hojas, Alice F y W Alice proporcionado toneladas de alimentos, ropa y diversos recipientes. Kate B estar? en casa la pr?xima semana para que podamos conseguir la mesa, cuatro sillas y dos camas para ellos. Si alguien est? en movimiento o tener una venta de garaje, por favor h?ganoslo saber. Van a necesitar toallas, una cama doble, una litera, l?mparas, platos y cubiertos.

La familia, y nosotros, estamos ansiosos de trabajar en la reconstrucci?n de la casa durante las vacaciones de Pascua. Hemos donado una retroexcavadora que viene! Estamos a tan s?lo 500 d?lares a corto ahora para terminar la reconstrucci?n.
