Car shipping to Mexico?
Does anybody have any experience and/or recommendations on how to ship a car from the US to Gto? I have a 1974 vw beetle I would like to get from SF to Gto and would love any information you can provide. Thanks

Josh, You are probably looking at a headache or worse if you don't do it yourself. If you use a professional international moving service [just Google to find them] it will be expensive. If you go the bargain route and have a friend or someone drive it here then he/she will be the temporary importer not you [ this assumes you can give the rights to drive your car to a third party -I think it can be done- otherwise as non-owner of the car he/she can not get in] So a half-way solution may be your best bet. Have someone drive it to San Diego and you fly up to TJ then hook up at the border crossing and drive the car back here.
