Don, Thanks - good anwer.
Also on the SMA radar are rentals -if you rent furnished accommodations you need to pay taxes on a monthly basis: ISR [use o goce], IETU and a 2% state tourism tax. In addition you collect IVA from the guests and pass that on to the SAT in your monthly payments. You can not pass on the ISR and IETU to the guests. But like you mentioned regarding the Cuota M?nima foreigners renting furnished property here without paying taxes currently are not on the local Hacienda's radar. |
