BOGUS BILL ALERT
About Matehuala coming from Laredo a Pemex gasolinero gave me two $200 peso bills that were fake. I suspect him because he made such a big deal out of wanting a different payment from me when he displayed a big roll of pesos and did not need my more "exact" payment.
If you have never seen one of the fakes i can show you. The most apparent difference when you compare the counterfeit to the real is that there is no watermark on the bad boy. At the toll both where i learned the sad truth the attendant told me that they were getting several of these bills daily. |
