Restaurant recommendations?

We just tried Smogen. Very good. Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, pickled beets. My wife had pork loin chops. All good, comfort food. With shared salad and mineral water, $200 pesos.

Logan, Sally and I just tried "Matrioshka (Matriarch) Russian Restaurant" and fell in love with the food. The (recently widowed) owner told us that she is committed to delivering fresh food daily at a reasonable price (between 35 and 88 pesos), and her adorable daughter is helping her promote the restaurant. Mmmmmm! Finger licking good!

We highly recommend it. You might want to give it a try. They are located on the same side as ?Chahuistle? but it?s certainly worth the trip for a nice comida.

I was in the building where they are, for an event where they were serving food. The aroma of Smogen's kitchen was incredible. We have heard so many compliments on their food that we are planning on going there for dinner tonight...
