Discount on Novartis meds

Novartis Mexico has a program called ConTacto which gives members up to 50% off thier meds.

In the Leon Mega by Costco I was offered a free card a few weeks ago when I purchased a Novartis med. I was also given the name, address and cedula professional of a Leon Dr. to use in the application process. On my first attempt to activate the card on-line I failed. Yesterday I was in Leon again and returned to Mega and asked for a new card and help in calling Novartis. The process took about 15 minutes partly because the volume on the Telmex phone was very low.

The discount I received worked out to be 10%. The 40% they offer on Exforge is off the Precio Maximo al Publico which is 989 pesos. Mega's normal price is 692.30 which is already a 30% discount - You can also double dip and use the ConTacto card with your INAPAM card. My total discount was 15%

I haven't yet checked with the GTO Mega if they have the cards but Leon has about 50 of them in their farmacia drawer. For other drug makers it might be worth checking thier Mexcian websites to see if they offer similar programs - if you find any please post here -

N.B. The requisitos say you need to have a Dr's receta - Mega looked the other way in my case but that may not be so for other meds. Also you don't need to use the Dr.'s name they give you - that's just a courtesy. You can any Dr.
