Senior discount ID Card

Visiting Canadian over The winter seeks information on Senior ID card that can be used for discounts...for example on buses..or...?.
Non resident...was told my passport would suffice for discount on bus limes ...however PrimeraPlus girl says no..
Any info appreciated..

You need to have a resident visa to qualify. Then you can go to the INAPAM office with whatever documentation they require in order to get a physical card.

My wife and I have had no problem at the GTO Centro Bus station , using passports for proof of age for 50percent discount. Lived here 4 yrs...use same method probably at least 4 -5 times a month. Cheers!

What this always Primera Plus, or did it work with other bus lines as well?

Has always been 50 % off with copy of passport ,only traveled with Primera Plus buses.

Final outcome....had my passport picture page scanner and laminated...then today took the local bus to central...used my new ID card and paid only 4 pesos

At Central bus station spoke to an agent who understood English showed him my new card and received 50% off my bus ticket to Mazatlan. He also reimbursed me for the ticket I had bought in centro at full price as the girl at the ticket office there claimed there was no discount.

ALL IS GOOD

Booking online may not show available seats but in my experience just going to the Central and booking at the counter the agent may without hesitation override the system and issue a discount tkt.
