Organic foods sanitation inspection and compliance with regulations
Seen on another bulletin board that I'm not a member of:
We have put together a sampling of the menu with pricing for your continued feedback. Ordering will be available within the next couple of days. Thanks for your support and look forward to hearing from you. Given the product range: Cream of Broccoli soup, Marinara Sauce, Coco leche, nana mylk, mango pudding my feed back would be concerns over e-coli, production and packaging sanitation and whether the enterprise is in compliance with the Mexican Law of Organic Products and is certified and inspected. 2. The certification of production processes may be made directly by SAGARPA through the National Health Service, Food Safety and Quality (SENASICA) or by certification bodies authorised by SAGARPA. All organic certificates issued will have a maximum term of one year. 3. The Participatory Certification is available only to family or small producers selling directly to consumers. |

RE: Organic foods sanitation inspection and compliance with regulations
I think your concerns are well founded, Bill. Are these products legal? Are they safe? Do they even exist at all?
The whole operation looks pretty flaky to me. For example: ?We have put together a sampling of the menu with pricing for your continued feedback. Ordering will be available within the next couple of days.? That was on April 4. Since then, nothing. I for one will not be ordering any ?nana mylk? that has been sitting around for God knows how long. E. coli, yummm! Mike |
