COVID-19 vaccinations in GTO March 19-21
For people 60 and older. 8 AM to 8 PM at the locations in the attachment. Bring your Residente card and a utility bill or some other proof of residence. If you don't have Residente status, the Federal government has stated clearly that everyone in Mexico can be vaccinated. So, try showing up with a passport and a utility bill and let us know what happens.

RE: COVID-19 vaccinations in GTO March 19-21
People were already lining up at some of the vaccination locations at 2 PM Thursday afternoon. Doesn's sound like such a great idea for elderly people.

Here’s what you need: ID, utility bill and your folio number from the online covid registration, a CURP was needed to get the online folio #. A screen shot of that worked for us. The tricky part was getting on the list for a place in line at Embajadoras. My wife went there ( to the primary school) yesterday to see what was going on. A person had a clipboard and a list that would determine your place in line for the next morning (Friday) we were 74 & 75 in line. We walked the line asking what number people had. When we got to our slot, the kind people in line made space for us.
A person with the list then walked the line, checked documents and confirmed our place in the line.
As the facility opened and started admitting people ( it opened about 30-45 minutes after 8:00am, we advanced until we got our Phizer vaccine.
At this point, we were given a slip for our next vaccination on April 10. We were required to sit in the school for 30 minutes after the shot to be observed for adverse effects. Upon departing, one of our slips of paper was kept by the person at the door and probably will be used to determine the number of second doses needed for the next round of shots. We kept two slips:one showing our next appointment and when & what we received today.
The whole process took about 2.5 hours.
