Looking for the best wings in town

We've been on a quest to find the best wings in town. So far we haven't had much luck. Anybody know a place that has super, super hot ones? We are in Centro and willing to travel.

I've never tried the wings at 3B Burgers, but they look good, and I know the chili-cheese fries are spicy. 3B (bueno, bonito y barato) Burgers is located on Constancia, on top of the empanada place. Constancia is the street behind Teatro Juarez that goes up to El Gallo Pitagorico.
Special wings offer on Tuesdays. They have Dr. Pepper soda, and really good A&W root beer floats, too.

Have you tried Guanajuato Wings above Plaza de Los Angeles? Only open on Thurs/Fri. I didnt try the hot ones but i really enjoyed the BBQ. James

I just had wings at La Ronda in centro, they were good. Fair size, crispy. I tried the house sauce a bit sweet for my tastes. Next trip I'll try a hotter version. 75 pesos for a dzn if I remember correctly.

The Van Gogh family has great tasting hot/bbq wings, La Oreja in San Fernando or Van Gogh at the entrance of el jardin. Price point is somewhere around or under cien pesos.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Here is an up date.

We did try Guanajuato Wings and they were very good and so were the fries.

El Rondo was out of them the night we went so we will have to go back. We split an order of ribs and a burger. The ribs were tough and the burger flavor was good but the grind of the patty was that mushy one that is so common here. Fries came after we had already finished both the burger and the ribs. We will go back to try our luck with wings again some time soon.

Last night we went to 3B burgers. The wings were really good and the burger was ok but again it was that mushy grind. Again the fries came after we were done with the burger and wings. We ordered a plain and spicy version and both were undercooked and limp. The good thing was that the spicy version had buffalo sauce and Parmesian cheese on them which made up for the limpness.

We aren't giving up. We've found several other places to try in town and will keep you posted.

We are having so much fun finding these places and exploring this beautiful city.

Thanks jesm, we went to McCarthy's the other night and the wings were delicious! We got two levels of heat and they were what we were looking for. The menu has lots of other things for non wing people too. Monday's special is $5/wing and you can mix and match sauces. A great deal!
