RE: Boycott American businesses operating in Mexico
I do not patronize companies from the US in MX because I prefer to buy local and support the local economy. If I must go to a bigger store, I will opt for Soriana or Mega. I will not shop at WalMart in the US because of their despicable labor practices. As for coffee shops, I don´t like Starbucks, not because they are a big company, but because their coffee is overroasted dreck. There are too many places both in my town in the US as well as in GTO that serve really good coffee and tea to put up with a crappy product. I also don´t ever want GTO to turn into a place like Ajijic on Lake Chapala where it is difficult to find someone who will speak Spanish to you. I intend to go as native as a guerita from Nevada can.
Cheers!

RE: Boycott American businesses operating in Mexico
I would personally go for a WalMart boycott. If WalMart Mexico misses quarterly projections and shareholder value declines, you can bet that Walton family interests will be lobbying hard to current US administration to knock it off. Who knows, maybe even a personal call from a Walton, who can buy and sell Trump 30 X over.
