second meter?
Does anyone have info about putting in a second electric meter? cost? permits?
My house and apt are on one meter and I would like to separate them. |

When I built I planned for two meters eventually. The first was just for construction. I have two side by side lots so no problem for CFE to approve. Second meter went in when the house was finished.
You'll probably spend more on the electrician to rewire and mount the meter base than CFE will charge.

We just paid an electrician to put the meter and the box and the mufa and then added a letter to our address our electrician new a guy at cfe and a 500 peso multa got it done fast. We can probably put you in touch with the people that did ours
