RE: italian sausage
The group that helps Mexican women, Arco Iris, has published a bilingual cookbook and it has a very good recipe for Italian sausage. It was great when I wasn't able to find it. I still prefer to use that recipe rather than buy it pre-packaged. But I think I've even bought Johnsonville Italian sausage at Mega. They always have Johnsonville sausages of various varieties. Walmart in Leon has it. Take a look at the Arco Iris website or Facebook to see if the cookbook is still available. And check out the good works that they do to help women.

RE: italian sausage
i appreciate the advice but I'm very happy with the sausage I'm getting from Antonio at the Gelato place. We kind of worked on it together developing the recipe over time. And Antonio is 100% Italian so he knows what he is doing mostly you have to pre order so it is always quite fresh It does come frozen which is good for us because we use it over time

RE: italian sausage
Didn't mean to imply I won't check out the Arco Iris one but I'm pretty much done with the Italian sausage in the stores down here
