This is my new favourite supermarket!!!

It took 1 hr to drive there this morning, and I am so glad I went even though I am a lot broker. Mainly a supermarket/groceries type shop but some home goods too, for me better brands than Walmart but less selection, no clothing (or maybe a tiny little bit). I bought a fry pan for $199 here and was $220 in walmart so the prices they have are comparable.
I found: Coconut sugar, coconut nectar, cacao powder, soy cheese, almond cheese, good frozen smoothie packs with no milk, lots of almond and soy milk options, tamari (real pad thai), hemp protein, different range of GF baking products, goji berries, good range of organic products, dispensers where you decide how much you want, lots of pasteries and premade cakes
Didn't check meat section... but I did see that had smoked salmon in the fridge section and fish dips....
Have attached lots of photos, it was like a walmart and wholefoods combine really. I will def be going back but also completely blew my budget :)

Yep, I have been to fresko many times, they are the only place with gluten free bread but their other stuff is lacking and way more expensive i find. It's much smaller than the HBE, I don´t think they have coconut sugar and syrup, soy/almond cheese, cacao powder, hemp seeds, goji berries, tamari, only frozen salmon or I just haven't found it there when I have searched before. And they are a LOT more expensive, my bread is about $120 pesos a loaf, one of them was $200 I think!!!
I think they are more a boutique version of wholefoods with the price tags to match :)

Great photos. It is a real find for the occasional stock-up shopping spree. The cheese selction is huge. Bought a genune Dr. Pepper! The overall variety reflects how big the store actually is, bigger than Mega I am sure, and then it is almost all food stuffs, very little general merchandise. Better prices than Mega, good values. Just that darn near hour drive each way, so we take a cooler for perishables, and enjoy a nice lunch along the way,

They also sell A&W Rootbeer in bottles and cans, plus a Texas favorite of mine, Shiner Bock beer!
