Hotel in Mexico City
I have American friends who are flying to PV via Mexico City and the flight requires a hotel stay overnight. They are a little nervous because it's all new to them, so I'm looking for suggestions of comfortable safe hotels right near the airport. Anybody have any experience in this? We've always flown in and taken the bus to Gto so I can't help them. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.

Why not stay in the airport hotel if it's just an overnighter?
Might be a little more expensive but no taxis, super safe since you aren't even leaving the airport, I had my bags booked through and walked to the hotel, had a great lie down then got back up and walked back to the gate the next morning. I stayed in this one: http://www.nh-collection.com/hotel/nh-co...airport-t2 and it was clean, nice, quiet and so so convenient ($150 US for the night) , super close to the flight to leon, I didn't get to check out the amenities as i was only there 6hrs. But there is also a hilton and courtyard hotel on the other side that have less stars so are probably cheaper. |
