Chiropractor in Guanajuato City!

I am looking for a Chiropractor in Guanajuato, GTO. Any recommendations?

There is a chiro in town in Plaza Baratillo. His name is Guillermo. His cell number is 473 118 6541 and his office number is 473 732 0891.

He is not your traditional chiropractor, like didn't really crack my back/neck but did weird pushing movements and kept telling me because of the way I was lying I have problems with a male figure in my life, even though I don't, he also told me that I breathed wrong and that's why I have stomach problems.

He is recommended by other people on this forum so depends on what you want. He was maybe 400-600 pesos and it was an hour appointment but he said he can't give receipts for mexico to claim on health insurance because it is illegal so now I just go pretty much next door and get massages.

There is meant to be someone, Dana, who is here only on Thursdays but hard to contact and I don't have any more details, I gave up trying to find someone else. Good luck!!! If you find a good one I am ready to go, just want a 10-15min session with lots of cracking!!

I go to Guillermo in Baratillo. I was skeptical at first because YES he is a bit "out of the box" so to speak. However, he has really helped me when I have been in major misalignment. At first he didn't adjust me as I needed/wanted him to but when I told him I wanted him to "crack" and adjust and get me in the right position he did it. I do like him now, and when he gives me his spiel about needing to go to a therapist with things....I just agree and go on my merry way. He is not aggressive in his adjustments which works very well for me and overall, I recommend him as I have found him to be very helpful for me.

I have been to Dana a couple of times but I find her completely unprofessional--she is impossible to reach, does not return phone, email and/or FB messages.

As far as the massage place just down from Guillermo the chiro in Baratillo...beware. There were many people, myself included that went to Rosario. She would sell you a package and then the times of the massages would get shorter and shorter...50 minutes, 45 then 40 minutes. (I even know some one that said she gave her a 35 minute massage). When I said something to her about it she told me "All packages are only 40-45 minutes." I told her if that was true you need to inform your customer of that up front. Additionally, her massages got sloppy and lazy and often when I would go for an appointment with Rosario she wouldn't be there and someone else was there to give me a massage. This person had no clue what she was doing (my husband could give a better massage and he is not very good). When that happened a second time I refused and told ehr to have Rosario call me to reschedule. If you do go to Rosario's place she does give a good massage as does her sister, Rosalia (so I have been told although I have never experienced it personally) I would be blunt and upfront and tell them you heard that they short you on time if you give buy a package and schedule appointments with a different therapist than the one you have the appointment with without notification. I know 6 people personally that left and have not returned to them....although one woman I know has returned and told them if she had any of the same problems again (what I just explained) she would not only leave them a second time but also let all of her friends know.

That's really sad about the massage place!! I just go occasionally for massages and just pay at the time, I have always been happy except for their useless head pillow.
I went last night and enjoyed it and the time before I went for 30mins and said I had to finish on time the girl went over and only charged 200 pesos (but I had an alarm and was like I have to go now...) One time they also changed masseurs half way through my massage without even telling me first (that was strange to turn around and there was another girl there, hahaha), the next time they asked if it was ok.
They are easy to go to and have walk in appointments, I can't managed to schedule things.

Probably worth trying Guillermo, just good to know what you are getting into, every person has a different thing that works for them and you might love it, I would always try something first before making up your mind. I guess it just wasn't what I expected so good to know ahead of time.
