Censorship lives on the "other" list

While a lot of people are jumping on the anti-Doug Bower bandwagon--and deservedly so--let's not lose sight of another issue. This whole brouhaha began when David Rogers posted a question directed at Doug on that "other" gtolist (now renamed gtoconnect), and for his troubles David's post was promptly censored! It was a civil and quite reasonable question, and yet it was simply deleted from the forum! Only a few months ago the list owner promised she wasn't going to delete members' messages anymore, but now she's returned to her old ways.

That's why I'm sticking right here at gtolist.com. I think we're all mature enough to police ourselves, and don't need a "moderator" to keep our emotions or our &%$#@ language in check.
