Issuing Facturas???
Once in awhile we have a customer at the restaurant that requests a factura, I am now registered with SAT and it is my belief that I can somehow do it online via my SAT account.
I know how to login but haven't the slightest what to do from there. Don't suppose anyone out there has experience with this stuff? |

RE: Issuing Facturas???
Speak with your accountant - first about giving out facturas in the first place Si o No as you may open up a can of worms you can't get out of. It is better to risk losing one customer over No factura than getting into bed more than you want with the SAT.

RE: Issuing Facturas???
We don't have an accountant yet....(would be happy for a recommendation on that as well). After opening my wife registered with SAT and later we learned that for our business and liquor license they would not accept her name as it is my name on the lease for the restaurant. The SAT office did not give me an appointment until last week so we are just trying to figure out all of this now.

RE: Issuing Facturas???
All invoicing is now done electronically and you can do it via the SAT website, but you can't include state cedular tax in your invoice for some bizarre reason. I use a reasonably priced online service to issue my recibos de honorarios, I can pass you the info via private message if you like. You might want to hire an accountant to explain everything and for the monthly and annual tax declarations as it'll save you some time. Mine is very good and his office is on Alonso. Let me know if you want his details.
Good luck, I've been paying tax for 4 years and it doesn't seem to get any easier or less frustrating! |
