Gambusino relatively new craft brewery in Guanajuato
I knew it was there but only today visited Gambusino with some friends Located on Camino real de minas No.4 Near the mina de cata on the shuttle bus route below Mellada.
They have IPA's Porter, Stout, and Scottish Ale As a craft beer enthusiast I found all the beers to be high quality and the owners very friendly and not shy about offering samples You can buy as much as you want and it is fairly reasonable considering the quality. They will deliver if you purchase a case or more. Yeah there is quality beer in Guanajuato |

One of the owners dropped off samples at our restaurant and I agree, some very nice quality beer being produced.

I also want to put in a word for Embajador. They produce German-style beers, and are located in the Santa Teresa suburb. Thay don't currently have any product available, but plan to have some at the end of January. Here's their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CerveceriaEmbajador
One final note to beer connoisseurs: If you're in SMA, try to find Dos Aves products. The Beer Company in SMA has them. |

RE: Gambusino relatively new craft brewery in Guanajuato
Has anyone tried the other brewhouse in Valenciana on the left across from the sports park's 2nd entrance? What's going on here? Brewing even at a micro scale involves serious investment - is there a market large enough to support three or more breweries in GTO or is it just a fad?
![]() Article here in .pdf [and somewhat tricky to navigate through] I have to admit there are some very tasty brews in MX now. I had a Minerva Imperial Stout in Leon a day or so ago. It was well made and could rival Guinness The Duck speaks from some experience having founded Mariner Brewing Co in Boston in 1981 at a site now occupied as the HQ of another [much more successful] Boston brewer |

I don't have details but MY BEER at Cantarranas 51A claims to stock 240 different beers including artesan beers from Guanajuato & Irapuato.
