How and where does one find out the date of the Cervantino
presentation and sale of the Abono tickets? Thanks, Gloria

Keep checking Gtolist to see if someone has found out about #41.As far as I can tell, the official site is still talking about last year's Festival (#40). The FIC office didn't have information yet when a friend called there last week.

I called again yesterday about the FIC presentation, and I was told that the tentative date is Tuesday, July 30th. I commented that this sounds kind of late, and the man said he couldn't say for sure because the date is "tentative," and he didn't know if the presentation would take place here in the late morning or early evening.
I'm going to stop by their office next week to see if I know anybody who's working there to confirm the date and time. All tickets usually go on sale the day of the presentation, and the Alhondiga abono tickets usually sell out the first or second day.

. . . and they usually run out of program guides within the first couple of days, and most of the abono tickets seem to have mysteriously been sold ahead of time, and the website is a dog's breakfast, etc., etc., etc. The presentation is tentatively scheduled for July 30?!? Last year it was in early May! You'd think after 40 years the FIC people could get their act together.

It's official: the presentation for this year's Cervantino Festival is on Tuesday, JULY 30, 7 p.m. at Teatro Cervantes. Tickets should go on sale right afterwards.
