Update on Home Rebuild in Cajones
Sorry, no photos as I am in the USA until Monday, so please use your imagination until Tuesday when I am back in my office and can send photos.
The entire foundation is poured. All interior and exterior walls are up 12 rounds. The reinforcement cap is ready to be poured. Today is stonemason's labor day, so no one is working. Tomorrow, the reinforcement cap will be poured since the bricks were the ones Memo had on been saving and they were not strong enough to support the roof. We just got a donation of $40 last night!! Since the entire roof has to be replaced, we are thrilled to be moving forward with more donations. We now have $2,640 - still short. Thank you all so much Jacquie |
