Ready to Pour the Floor!! Fire in Cajones

Tomorrow, the floor will be poured on the remodeled home of the family of 6 who lost the original home in a fire Feb. 6 here in Cajones, GTO. Last night, the plumbing was installed. You can see the old outhouse in two photos. No more outhouse! They will have an toilet AND a shower.

See the septic is done - they will have water!! We are still short ($400) for the roof and interior ceiling repairs ($500) so we cannot install a solar water heater ($715) yet, but the bilingual book the four girls wrote may bring in the money we need.

DIF delivered two loads of gravel and one of sand yesterday, plus three windows and on door! The day before they received 40 bags of cement, 4 of cal, reinforcement wire and rebar from DIF - just 65 days after the fire!! Aren't you totally pleased at this help coming from DIF to the family? Now you know where the gasoline percentage money goes!! Thank you!!!
