Trading Post Page?
Bill, would it be feasible to set up a page for buying selling trading?
Of course each notice would have to be posted individually. But it would be nice if it were possible to somehow find all items and then sort them alphabetically. Thanx, Doyle |

RE: Trading Post Page?
Hi Doyle,
That's an idea worth considering but there is a draw back as well as items on a new 'forum' may never be looked at - readers would have to actually switch to it in the General tab General Forum Threads Posts Last Post Guanajuato Forums Discussion about all things GTO Trading Post Items for sale/trade/barter/wanted Perhaps there is someway I can make a blinking icon when new items are posted - I'll look into it. In the short term you can use the Search box at the bottom of the message page and search for "sale" and most posts come up. |

RE: Trading Post Page?
Bill, when one logs-in, the General tab is automatically displayed with Guanajuato Forums below it, clickable.
Could there not be a second clickable link just below Guanajuato Forums reading "BuySellRentTrade Guanajuato" or something like that? With only two choices a logged-in member would be pretty certain to sometimes check the second one and/or post to it. --d |

RE: Trading Post Page?
There is a simple solution. My GTOlist bookmark is set to:
http://www.gtolist.com/forum/mybb1/searc...n=getdaily That shows me all posts from that day, regardless of which forum they were posted to. For people who don't check daily, setting a bookmark to: http://www.gtolist.com/forum/mybb1/searc...ion=getnew will show all unseen posts, regardless of which forum they were posted to. |

RE: Trading Post Page?
lol...I'll take the job!
There are links to "View New Posts" and "View Today's Posts" near the top of each forum page. I just took the targets from those, which are not date-specific, and used them to create bookmarks. |
