Performance: Amahl and the Night Visitors

Kate Burt Love announces that a performance of the Menotti opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors" will be performed in the Teatro Principal on Thursday, January 17, and Friday, January 18. This is a joint collaboration between the OSUG (Symphony) and the theater group El Quinto Elemento. It will be performed in English, and runs about one hour.

Hopefully I will be able to attend.
Also curious. Noticed on The Events Board by the Juarez something called ( I believe) 2 annual Actors Urban festival or words to that effect on the 25. As my wife will be here by then it sounds like a good opportunity to experience this theater.
Anybody wish to clue this Ole Gringo in as to what this is?

Thank You for the great suggestion. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, My first night "on the town" this trip.
The theater was packed.
Streets around the Jardin were crammed with Friday Nighters. No empty cabs anywhere but the buses were running so no problem getting home.
