ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
Regardless of which candidate you support (and even if you don't support any of them) come celebrate the election and help a good cause.

RE: ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
Is that the new norm in Guanajuato that you would invite party-pooping Republicans to this event? Not my cup of tea, amigo.

RE: ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
I live in MEXICO MAINLY because the USA is a very dark place to be anymore. The Constitution and amendments have been replaced by police-state-like executive orders and laws under a number of past "presidents", many of whom were selected by the elite-ruling-rich in manipulated ( in BUSH JR'S case, stolen TWICE) "elections". There is no two party system in the USA any more and watching any farcical "election" would be for merely slapstick comedy reasons. Thanks for the invite anyway.:D

I can Not think of a worst idea. Having Winners & Losers of any political persuasions together on election night is a recipe for disaster IMO.

RE: ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
Since 50% of the proceeds go to help poor people, we don't have to worry about any Republicans showing up.

RE: ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
Just a quick note: 4 years ago this event was quite good and a fun gathering of 100 or so - what surprised me the most was that after close to 20 years in GTO how few of the attendees I knew -and they were mostly Canadians-

The buffet was good, the drinks reasonably priced and as it does get cold for a short while here the blankets warmed those who otherwise would feel more than a political chill.

See you next Tuesday?

RE: ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY
Elections Nights are often fraught with nail biting and this ones looks to be one for the record books. The cause is good and worth support and maybe, just maybe it will take the edge off the tension of the night.
