Life drawing
Is anyone interested in doing life drawing with a nude model (or is anyone already doing it in town)? I would be interested in hosting it at my home above Las Mommias weekly; I could put an ad to find a model and we could share the cost of the model. I was doing it back in Vancouver and it was a great way to practice (in a non-judgmental way), and to share. We would pick an evening that doesn't interfere with other community activities. Beginners to advanced welcome!

RE: Life drawing
Hello.

My wife and I are moving to GTO on Nov 12 for a four-month stay -- our first visit to GTO and our first extended stay in Mexico.

I would be delighted to join you for figure drawing as often as once a week, although I guess it must depend somewhat upon the cost. I've done perhaps 200 hours of figure drawing in total, but I am primarily a landscape painter and it has been a few years since I worked with the figure.

Thanks for organizing this. Please let me know if it's still on.

Yours in art,

Terry

RE: Life drawing
Hi Terry,
Welcome to Gto!
I'm still working on getting the figure drawing going (nude or not). So far there are 4 of us. Will let you know as soon as I start. Until then, hope to meet you and your wife on a Sunday brunch!
