Now that Colleen has closed her bookstore (a big thank you from all of us Colleen for being such a wonderful host) we will have a new longer RECYCLED TREASURES workshop with Ara upstairs on the newer side of Cafe Tal (thanks Greg!)

MAKE EXTRAORDINARY OUT OF THE ORDINARY!
   
How many beautiful memorabilia items and other treasures have you gathered from your life and travels? Come and explore different ways to incorporate these fun and meaningful items into wearable art. As part of the workshop you can learn how to make a bead with some antique lace, or how to incorporate an earring, photo or other item with special meaning into these beautiful collage pieces.

If you can Ara would also love you to bring to donate any unwanted broken jewellery, beads, chains, pieces of yarn, lace, odd washers and nuts etc that are of no use to you. The older the better.

AT CAFE TAL, SUNDAY SEPT. 30, 11-5pm, 400 pesos (approx $31 USD)
Cost includes additional materials incl. beads, wire, pre-cut and pre-drilled metal bases and findings.

You can purchase coffee, tea, chocolate drinks and snacks from Cafe Tal, or bring your own food for breaks.
