Santa Rosa charcoal in Gto?

I've struck out trying to arrange for the charcoal makers in Santa Rosa to deliver a 15 kilo bag - they say they don't deliver this small a quantity. The woman I just spoke to (Alejandra) says she doesn't know what stores in Gto sell their charcoal. The fruiter?a in Dos Rios that used to sell it is closed indefinitely. Anybody have a suggestion as to where I can buy this stuff? I can buy smaller quantities if that makes a difference.

Hi Jeff, I'm not sure if the charcoal that is sold in Pastita is from Santa Rosa but there is a small shop on the left hand side if you are walking up from the baseball stadium against the traffic and before you get to the carniceria on the right. It's just a small door and looks dark and very dirty, but hey, they sell charcoal and that's a dirty mess. I wonder if you have to bring your own bags. Maybe that's where the guys with the burros go to pick it up. Let us know if you check it out.

From what I've seen at least some of this is made in the Presa Perillio nature preserve. Maybe it's better to buy it from the store.

I was walking down yesterday and at 11:15 the guy in front of me opened the door to the charcoal place. It's #46. The charcoal is in bags. I couldn't understand much of what he said. He couldn't understand when I said "Santa Rosa". So I don't know where it's from. He just kept asking if I wanted a bag.
