A farewell lunch for Martha Roberts

Branko Deronja invites Martha's many friends to wish her farewell. Here's his message:

Martha has won our hearts.
She helped Amigos de los Animales, rescued us at Imigracion, and helped us with Spanish when we couldn't manage.
She has been everyone's friend, always there when we needed her.
Now in her late sixties, with problems with both health and finances, she MUST venture forth.
Let us show her that we care.
Come to El Midi Bistro at 1 p.m. on January 10 for a farewell lunch in her honor.
Please also make a small contribution so that her move will go more smoothly (suggested amount: 300-500 pesos).
We need a head count, so please let us know if you are coming!

REGRETS from Don and Jacquie as we leave tomorrow for health reasons to Ecuador. All month we have tried to see Martha, but her health has been too poor to receive us or meet us for a meal.

May this struggle all be left behind her in 2013. She has given so much to GTO residents. With a BIG BANG on January 10, ignite 2014 to be her year of joy, health, and prosperity!
