Stephen Ferry, the photographer who took photos of the Colombian conflict over a period of a dozen years (now out as a book: Violentology), is the brother of Elizabeth Ferry, the anthropologist who has been in and out of Gto many times for her research on the Santa Fe Mining Cooperative. Stephen took the photos for "Not Ours Alone," Elizabeth's book about the miners. The talented two are the offspring of the prizewinning poet David Ferry, their mother was a literary scholar.
