$309 r/trip seems kind of steep for a 240 mile trip each way [480 mi total] but is a bit faster than the bus* and you could go on the morning flight and come back on either a 3pm or 6pm flight.

15-20 min deboard to curb at MEX - domestic flt so no Immigration or Aduana
30-60 min taxi from MEX to say Zona Rosa at 9am rush hour
so minimum 180 min going (3 hrs)

vs

the bus [ETN] which is
5-10 min taxi to bus station
300 min bus
15-30 min taxi to Zona Rosa at 10 am still sort of rush hour
so minimum 320 min each way - almost twice the time but still possible to do same day r/trip [I've done it] for a total cost, if you have INAPAM card, of $45 r/t

Times on the returns by air or bus are similar but not exactly the same as going:

MEX airport 1 hr or more in advance Terminal del Norte - show up and go.

YES you could, instead of a taxi, use the Metro for a few pesos from/to either of these points.
