links to 2 Economist maps about violence in Mexico

The 1st link showing comparisons to geographically sized equivalent localities in other parts of the world is very interesting.

As for the 2nd link, showing a country-wide map of MEXICO and deaths per state due to drug violence---it's VERY difficult to believe that GTO STATE has31 compared to DF and MEXICO CITYS' combined 9 people who died ( if I read the enlarged confusing portion of the map correctly) It just doesn't make sense, as DF and MEX CITY are way more populated and violence-prone than GTO state.

I'll take the 2nd graph with a grain of salt.
