Charles Schwab has bought out TD Ameritrade.

Press reports forecast deal to close and merger completed in second half of 2020.
Schwab will be surviving entity with their management to be in charge of newly combined company.

Since this merger is unlikely to be beneficial for either investors or the public at large, perhaps the Trump administration will do the right thing and stop it from happening.
