Our hard-working maid was just robbed at around 3pm last Saturday on Alonso (near the MacroFoto).

2 chavos, one with a small knife, took her watch and $400 pesos.

Thankfully she was not hurt - probably since she did not resist.

More details please, Andrea. Approximate ages, dress and how did they do it, like were they just hanging out waiting for a victim? The two rateros that ripped me off at Dos R?os might be the same.

Please notify El Correo--office is right downtown. The more this sort of thing is publicized, especially in el centro, the more likely the cops will do something. I hope. --Doyle

Thanks Doyle.... I will press her for more details tomorrow and let you know. All I know at the moment is they were 2 young-ish guys, but I'll post more and encourage her to report it to (at least) the Correos.
