The U.S. Department of State has issued a travel alert regarding the potential for anti-U.S. actions following the disruption of a plot, linked to Iran, to commit a significant terrorist act in the United States. Any U.S. citizens in Mexico who have not previously registered with the Department of State may wish to do so at http://www.travel.state.gov/. In addition, all U.S. citizens are encouraged to stay in contact with friends and relatives in the U.S. to apprise them of their whereabouts and well-being. You do a wonderful service in alerting us to these important notices that could protect one's personal safety. It is worth noting that the Mexican government was instrumental in foiling this assasination plot by identifying and refusing entry into Mexico of the alleged terrorist. He was forced to re-enter the USA and was immediately arrested at JFK airport upon landing. Well done by all!! Jesse |
