HEALTH - MORE ON HEART ATTACKS IN GTO
If a person suspects a heart attack, it is important to have a troponin test, available at Aranda de la Parra and Hospital Angeles (I don't know about in Gto but easy to find out by calling the Centro Medico or Plaza Mayor labs). This simple blood test reveals whether blood contains enzymes released by a heart attack. An EKG (ECG) shows past silent heart attacks (no noticeable symptoms) as well as what is occurring. In Mexico doctors do not necessarily interpret the data that way and then may make incorrect assumptions.
