Delays in Getting Migratory Docs stamped at BJX
I imagine everyone has had a frustrating experience attempting to get your FM3 migratory document stamped before taking off on a flight at BJX. Often there is no one from Aduana at the window, as they are servicing an incoming flight. Last week the Continental agent suggested I leave a complaint in the Buzon de Quejas near the ground-floor departure lounges. I did just that. Fearing retribution, I only left my e-mail address. Surprisingly, I got a response today - a brush-off, but still a response (below). I'm thinking if everyone who's had a problem with Aduana leaving BJX writes to her, they may take this problem seriously.

Sr. Kasugie:

Saludos!
Atte.

Hmmm I taught the airline company stamped those?

Pray that mexico does not begin to charge an airport toll fee to foriegners like they do in venezuela where you have to pay a toll fee for using their airport, and they only take cash that is Bolivares, USD, or EUROS. No pay no return airline ticket. :@

But the way this new mex government is going, it wont be long.

Most airports have a user fee built into the ticket price. For example Toronto was $20 but amount may have changed.

Exactly, the user fee usually already is included in all fares, but not in Venezuela...so make sure you take some $ and a Debit or CC that is funded by Bolivares, USD or EUROS.

Venezuela wont let you leave until you pay that user fee.

As I recall, I have had to pay an "exit" fee, in cash-no credit cards, in Bermuda, Cuba and Russia.
