Avatars?

How do I get one of those neat avatars, like the ones Mr Bill and rosamarta have?

Suze, There is a small selection of avatars included with this forum software. Go to the USER CP up in the login/logout box and you can modify your profile from there. But as you'll see the selection is rather lame. Probably a good thing because it makes you want to go out in the world [Google] to find something better. Google "Avatar" and you'll find pages and pages of them. Make your search more specific, say "avatar coffecup" and you can hone in on what you may be looking for. Download /save to your computer whatever you find. It should be in .gif format and sized 100x100 pixels [you can easily resize in Windows by right clicking on the file and select the resize/advanced option then specify the size] Next go back to your profile and in the avatar section click Browse and find the avatar on your computer. Select it and it installs automatically and adds itself to all your messages new or old.
