Diabetic insulin

My wife is an insulin dependent diabetic. She is currently using two forms of insulin, Lantus - long acting 24 hrs, and Humalog - short acting 2-4 hours.

We are wondering if these brand names are available in Guanajuato or what equivalents might be available. Also, does anyone know a good endocrinologist in the area? From looking on the internet it looks like we might have to go to Leon for such.

Forgive me for getting personal, but... are you insured? If you are, make sure you bring enough supplies with you for at least 90 days. And come fully prepared for an emergency situation. Personally, I am not familiar with those medications in Guanajuato, nor a local English speaking Endocrinologist. We have a couple of private Physicians with whom we consult locally and one in Le?n. When you get here you may want to check with others who have actually seen the doctors you need.
