Expats In Mexico Survey 2022
The expatsinmexico.com site does a nationwide survey of expats every year. I think it would be good for GTO to be well represented in this. Here's an explanation: https://www.expatsinmexico.com/our-new-e...in-mexico/
And here's a link directly to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PJ3N95K It is open until February 28. |

RE: Expats In Mexico Survey 2022
I think it's better to try to keep one's Mexico home as "not advertised" because whatever aspect of it is unique, whatever is peaceful, whatever is interesting, whatever is economical, that is all inversely proportional to the result of how many people are begging their old neighborhoods to move southward into their new home town. Look no further than Chapala or San Miguel de Allende to see how "the loss of innocence" can occur and in a very short time period. Civic pride is certainly a nice thing to have but in an Instagram world, it usually means that civic pride pushed too far wipes out everything listed on the pride check-list. :-)

RE: Expats In Mexico Survey 2022
We agree on the wisdom of downplaying the charms and attraction found here.
When asked why we are here, my 11 year response has been, “we found places in Mexico that we liked more, some much more, but only Guanajuato reciprocated our affection.’ |
