TotalPlay

Anyone know anything about TotalPlay internet. TelMex here has been out for 8 days. At least 7-10 reports made. I’m asking on behalf of my young neighbors who NEED internet for work and interviews. They can sign up for just one month with TotalPlay for about 1300 and then just not pay the next bill and let them cut off service. Thoughts?

You have to physically go to Telmex by the bus station to get repair service scheduled. Calling does nothing. TotalPlay has to run fresh fiber optic, new modem and labor costs. Having them to this and then stiffing them doesn’t sound fair.

As I understand it, and I tried to help them understand what TotalPlay was saying, both by phone and with a vendor who came here, they will pay the installation costs and a month of connection. Then if they don’t pay the next month, the service will just be cut off and then a new charge is made to reconnect it. This is the only solution the owner has sanctioned aside from waiting for TelMex. So, I guess it’s between them. I’ll keep posting if I learn anything more.
