Thanksgiving at ex-Hacienda Duran

Be advised GTO, GTO that Jules and Michael have set the new standard for entertaining in GTO. Yesterday these two "fireballs" made serving and entertaining 100+ people look like an easy task. Everyone who was there can tell you that the entire event was flawless, but what Jules and Michael were doing behind the scenes was Earth-shaking. They taught each child, teenager, young adult, and mature adventurer that the Earth is worth preserving. They used real glasses, real dishes, they washed dishes by hand, they taught recycling, they saved bottles and corks, they had a compost bin, and I imagine at least a dozen or two more activities unnoticed.

Yesterday I was thankful that I was present in seeing people become a part of a movement of taking responsibility for our own mess so that children will still have the resources we mature individuals took for granted for too long.
