Voting absentee

Originally from Texas, I'm registered to vote there. I'm also back and forth often enough to always vote in person but this Covid-season I won't be getting back for the election. I just communicated with my Early Voting clerk and my local Texas county election department and they let me know that this year one can input (email) in block number (3) and then enter an email address in the "Contact Information" block and the ballot will be emailed to me instead of mailed to me in Mexico (an option that is not named on the form). This requires that the option 6a or 6b as appropriate needs completing as well as the option (8) specifying the range of dates I am out of the county in addition to my email address.

This may not be state-wide so if you are from Texas, interested in this option and thus removing a step of waiting for your absentee request to arrive, then waiting for the ballot to get here, you are then left with only the travel times from here to there twice.
