US Television in Mexico
Hello:
I am not sure what I am asking for. I want to be able to watch some US television while in Mexico fo several months each year. Right now I do not have TelMex cable; only a telephone and internet. Both work fine and are inexpensive here. I have heard that these days I should be able to buy an service (on the internet I presume) that can provide me something like cable TV but through the internet. Then wherever I go, if I can get on the internet (with enough bandwidth) I can watch my regular TV. That's the basic idea. I am wondering if I can buy whatever that TV/Internet service is here in Mexico, then access it when I am in the US? No sense buying it twice. And it is probably cheaper here. Any leads on how to crack this nut would be helpful and appreciated. If anyone knows exactly what to do, I am happy to compensate for the technical support. James jim@doranlegal.com [/b] |

https://www.ustvnow.com/
$30/month. Month to month, cancel and reactivate as wanted. I use it only September thru December for US college football games as not available on Sky or Megacable. Good channel mix. Sports and news options. No VPN, good streaming signal. |

RE: US Television in Mexico
Bob Harper in SMA has a service that provides what you're looking for, and quite a bit more. I've been using it for 1 1/2 years now, and I'm happy with it. Phone him (or better, use WhatsApp) at +1 913 915-7415.
For example, I was able to watch "The Handmaid's Tale". That originates with Hulu, and Hulu blocks out all the VPN's, even if you're a paying subscriber. |

RE: US Television in Mexico
It’s an interesting deal. First marketed as a streaming service for US military personnel abroad it manages to brings some heavyweight USA programming at a reasonable cost with continuity. Some of these similar packages come and go as they must pirate most of their offering without paying for any foreign content rights, but this has been going strong for several years with near constant channel offerings. Plus the customer service is immediate and you can enroll and cancel without problem or penalty all online.

RE: US Television in Mexico
I am going to compare the two choices I have been shown. US TVNOW and Bob Harper's in SMA. What does each offer and what does each cost. I will report in.
If anyone can add to this story, I am sure there are many people trying to figure this out these days. James |
